Le riz poha, également appelé « riz aplati », est un riz qui a été cuit à la vapeur, aplati puis séché. Il présente une texture légère et moelleuse et absorbe bien les saveurs, ce qui en fait un ingrédient idéal pour des plats rapides et faciles à préparer, comme le poha, l'upma et les en-cas. Facile à cuisiner, il est très apprécié au petit-déjeuner ou pour des repas légers.
INSTRUCTIONS DE PRÉPARATION :
Rincez rapidement le poha sous l'eau courante et égouttez-le immédiatement (ne le rincez pas trop, sinon il deviendra pâteux). Versez 1/2 tasse d'eau sur le poha et laissez reposer 5 minutes pour qu'il ramollisse.
